Despite the general housing shortage which prevails in Israel, settlers from America will have little difficulty in obtaining living quarters on a par with what they have been accustomed to, it was reported today by the Jewish Agency’s economic department here.

Three of Israel’s largest housing companies — RASSCO, Palestine Land Development Company, and Shikun Workmen’s Housing Company — have erected projects in the environs of Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem, the report said. Apartments in these developments are for sale at prices ranging from a minimum of $2, 700 for three rooms to a maximum of $9,500 for four and a half rooms, depending upon layout and location.
