Rabbi Abraham J. Feldman of Congregation Beth Israel of Hartford and editor of the “Jewish Ledger,” an Anglo-Jewish weekly newspaper in this city, was today awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Sacred Theology at the 127th commencement exercises at Trinity College, Dr. Feldman, who is vice-chairman of the Commission on Jewish Chaplains, recently returned from a Department of Defense mission in Hawaii.
