Israel Minister Reports on Talks for Uja-bond Coordination

Israel’s Finance Minister Levi Eshkol today reported at a meeting of the Jewish Agency executive on his talks in the United States regarding the need to coordinate the United Jewish Appeal and the Israel Bond drive. He stressed the importance of increasing the income of both drives to at least $150,000,000 a year.

Maurice Boukstein, legal advisor of the Jewish Agency, reported on his collaboration with the Attorney General of Israel in the drafting of a status for the World Zionist Organization. A report on the situation on Israel’s frontiers was delivered at the meeting by Itzhak Rafael, member of the Agency’s executive, who made a trip to the Arab-Israel border zones.
