General presentation of the Jewish claims for reparations from Austria for damage suffered by Jewish victims of the Nazi regime was completed here yesterday at meetings of Austrian and Jewish experts on the claims submitted to Austria by a commission representing world Jewish organizations.

The technical talks, which had been proceeding in an atmosphere of marked frigidity in contrast to the top level talks between Chancellor Julius Rab and the commission heads, wound up on a warmer and friendlier note yesterday and it appeared that agreement had been reached on a number of points.

Sub-committees to handle specific points at issue were set up. They will meet Monday and their negotiations, it is expected, will continue for a few days. It was indicated today that Austrian officials have not yet stated how the Austrian Government will respond to the Jewish claims. It is not expected that the Government will have any official reaction to the claims until the middle of this week.
