The 30th annual national convention of Aleph Zadik Aleph, B’nai B’nai B’rith youth organization, opened here today to discuss problems of “basic Judaism.” About 250 leaders of the organization and their adult advisors are participating in the parley.

Philip M. Klutznick, national president of the B’nai B’rith, told leaders of the youth organization that “the American Jew wants and needs the building of a dignified Jewish community” and B’nai B’rith youth can greatly contribute to the achievement of this aim. He also called for consolidated efforts of Jewish community workers and laymen “to generate constructive forces to bring about a renaissance of Jewish cultural life in America.”
