United Nations Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold has received a letter from the Catholic Near East Welfare Association protesting Israel’s transfer of its Foreign Ministry from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
The Catholic organization’s protest accused the Jewish State of violating UN resolutions on the internationalization of Jerusalem. Francis Cardinal Spellman of New York is head of the Association.
