Sen. Arthur V. Watkins, chairman of the Senate Immigration Subcommittee, will tour Arab refugee camps in Arab states surrounding Israel during October to gather information for a report to Congress. Sen. Watkins is now in Europe gathering information about the operation of the McCarran-Walter Immigration Act and the 1953 emergency refugee bill.
