Sen. Gillette Goes to Middle East to Study Arab Refugee Problem

Sen. Guy Gillette, of Iowa, today made known that he plans an early tour of the Near Eastern courtiers to investigate prospects of rehabilitation of Arab refugees now supported by the United Nations.

He will make the trip on behalf of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s Subcommittee on Near Eastern Problems which reported “Congress would not be justified in continuing aid for this program.” Sen. Gillette has not yet set a definite departure date.
