Socialist International Lauds Ben Gurion’s Achievements

The Bureau of the Socialist International, meeting here today, has dispatched a message of admiration to Premier David Ben Gurion, on the occasion of his resignation as head of the Israel Government.

The message, which expressed the gratitude of the Socialist leaders for his contributions to the Socialist movement, declared: “As Prime Minister of Israel you managed to achieve a feat which evoked the astonishment of the world, namely, the gathering in of hundreds of thousands of your people from all corners of the globe and their integration into the economic and cultural life of your country.”
