Israel Prepares to Accommodate 6,500 Tourists in Modern Hotels

Israel will be able to accommodate 6,500 tourists in modern, first class hotels by next Spring, S. Perlstein, chairman of the Hotel and Restaurant Organization, announced here.

Mr. Perlstein revealed that as a result of expenditures of $8,000,800 and 3,000,000 Israeli pounds for building new hotels and renovating old ones Israel has some of the most modern tourist accommodations. He added that the favorable exchange rate will make Israel one of the cheapest countries for tourists to visit.
