The famed First Baptist Church of Washington in which former President Harry S. Truman holds membership, will worship every Sunday for the next year and a half in the Jewish Community Center here while the church’s new building is under construction.
Chief Justice Earl Warren of the Supreme Court and many other leading government personalities attend this church, whose pastor is the well-known Rev, Edward Hughes Pruden. The board of directors of the Jewish Center voted to provide auditorium facilities without charge to the Christian congregation.
