The United States Government this week-end turned over to Israel a $9,000,000 check for the purchase of food and raw materials. The money is part of the Foreign Operations Administration grant-in-aid to Israel for 1953-54. The State Department has authorized the allocation of $26,000,000 in aid to Israel for the period ending December 31, 1953.
