Britain to Consider Jewish Request for Intervention with Austria

The British Government will give sympathetic consideration to a request of a British Jewish deiegation that it intervene to help the Conference on Jewish Claims Against Austria obtain a fair settlement of Jewish demands, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Selwyn Lioyd today promised the Jewish delegation. The deputation was headed by Barnett Janner, member of the claims conference executive and an MP.
