High Officials in Israel May Proclaim a Three-day Stoppage

High officials in government offices today decided not to appear for work for three days beginning next Monday, if the government does not agree to increase their salaries. Exemptions will be made in cases where the interests of the state may suffer directly from the absence of the officials from their posts, it was indicated.
