Israel has obtained a short-term loan from the Bank of America to cover a number of other short-term obligations which fall due this year, Pinchas Saphir, director general of the Israel Finance Ministry, revealed here today upon his return from a visit to the United States. Mr. Sapir refused to reveal any details of the loan.
