The British Government today requested its embassies in Israel and Jordan to report in detail on the massacre of the 11 Jews by Arabs who attacked an Israeli bus in the Negev.

Meanwhile, a Foreign Office spokesman today expressed “deep regret” over the “very shocking” outrage. He refused further comment on the incident until the results of the on-the-spot investigation conducted by the United Nations Armistice Commission are made known.
