A demand that the Soviet Union permit the free emigration of Israel-bound Jews was voiced here today at the annual conference of Amgen, a society to help Jewish prisoners held in Russia.

At the same time, the delegates called on the Israel Government to ask the Soviet authorities to release thousands of Zionists held prisoner in Siberia. They issued a statement expressing deep regret that during the six years that the USSR has recognized Israel it has not permitted more than a few aged Jews to leave for the Jewish State.
