The first group of Syrian Jews to arrive in Turkey en route to Israel have boarded a Turkish ship for the final leg of their journey.
The 21 members of this group all had Iranian passports. Other groups of Syrian Jews are expected to travel through southern Turkey en route to Israel this Spring.
