More than 250 members of New York’s printing and allied industries today pledged their support at a dinner at the McAlpin Hotel for a $100,000 printing school to be built in Israel to train young Israelis in the printing and related arts.

The dinner was sponsored by the Israel Histadrut Campaign. The school will form part of the network of trade schools developed by Histadrut in Israel. These trade schools train immigrant youth from backward and underprivileged areas of the world to master technical skills.
