Meir Wilner, Esther Wilenska and Emil Habibi have been ousted from leadership in the Communist Party of Israel and have been given secondary party posts, Kol Haam, the party newspaper, announced today.

The new secretariat consists of Shmuel Mikunis and Tewfik Toubi, members of the old unit, and three new members identified as: Chinin of the youth movement; Saliba of the Arab section; and Fienhaus of the women’s division. The newspaper also publishes a statement of self-criticism of the old secretariat in which it admits failure in fulfilling its organizational work.
