Bruce McDaniel, returning head of the American aid program in Israel pledged last night that upon his return to the United States he would devote himself to projects designed to building Israel’s development.
He made this promise at a meeting of the Histadrut executive which he addressed. He also praised the Israel labor federation, asserting that without the vision and initiative of the Histadrut leadership and the creative spirit of the labor federation the State of Israel would not have existed. He called unfounded charges that the Histadrut interferes with foreign capital investment in Israel.
