Israel to Add Seven German-built Ships to Its Merchant Fleet

Seven more ships will be added to the Israeli merchant marine by Zim-Israel Navigation Company, Ltd., which announced today that it will order the vessels from German shipyards to be paid for out of West German reparations. The ships will include one passenger liner, one passenger-freight ship, two fruit carriers, two freighters, and an oil tanker.
