Novelist Hermann Kesten, a native of this city who is now an American citizen, today was awarded one of the three cultural prizes granted here annually by the municipality. Among Kesten’s works cited in the award were “Ferdinand and Isabella,” “Children of Guernica,” and “The Twins of Nuremberg.”
