Samuel D. Gershovitz, executive vice-president of the National Jewish Welfare Board, has been named 1954 recipient of the Aleph Zadik Aleph “Sam Beber Distinguished Alumnus” award. AZA, which is the boys’ group of the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization, concluded its 31st convention and leadership training institute here today. Mr. Gershovitz was a member of AZA when he was a student in Minneapolis.
