The Buenos Aires Jewish Community today began a series of celebrations to mark its 60th anniversary. The celebrations will include such events as lectures, receptions, concerts and exhibitions.
As part of the celebration schedule, the community has proclaimed “Jewish Book Month.” Another event was the inauguration yesterday of a new building of the Yiddishe Folksbank here.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
