Secretary General Abdel Khalek Hassouna of the Arab League made known this week-end in an address before a convention of the Syrian and Lebanese American Federation that the Arabs are planning a propaganda campaign in the United States aimed at winning American support of the Arab League against Israel. The Arab leader said that the half-million Americans of Arabic origin were being mobilized.
Plans were announced at the convention “to bring a group of distinguished leaders from the Near East in January as guests of Town Hall, New York, to participate in a full program of discussion in many communities all over the United States.”
