Two Jews have been elected to Brazil’s Parliament in the recent elections. They are Dr. Horacio Lafer, former Finance Minister of Brazil, and Dr. Moises Steinbruch.
One Jew was elected to the Rio de Janeiro municipal council. He is Dr. Isaac Isaacson, who is a member of the Poale Zion movement.
