Dutch Premier Willem Drees and Israel Minister for Development Dr. Dov Joseph today shared a platform at an Israel bond meeting here attended by some 500 persons who had already purchased Israel development bonds.
The Premier expressed his admiration “for the heroic achievements of the people of Israel” and his hopes for an early peace in the Middle East. Dr. Joseph reported on Israel’s economic development, asserting that with the help of Israel bond sales the country would be economically self-sufficient within seven years.
