The national block ticket defeated a left-wing faction in elections for the vice-presidency and other members of the executive of the Buenos Aires Kehilla, garnering 67 percent of the total vote. The left-wing group lost some 1,200 votes as compared with last year. The new trend was viewed with great satisfaction by Jewish national circles here.
