Israel will soon approach the United Nations Security Council again on the question of freedom of navigation through the Suez Canal, Premier Moshe Sharett told the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs and Security Committee today.

Maj. Gen. E. L. M. Burns, United Nations Truce Supervisor in Palestine, announced today that he will convene a special meeting of the Israel-Egypt Mixed Armistice Commission to give the Egyptians a re-hearing on their complaint on the Bat Galim, Israel vessel seized in Suez waters two months ago. Earlier, the MAC condemned Egypt for violating the armistice agreement by seizing the vessel and imprisoning its crew, and called for the release of the 10 Israeli seamen.
