Israel delegate Mordecai Kidron told the General Assembly today that Israel is not satisfied with some economic studies worked up by the UN Economic and Social Council, because they do not display a sense of urgency which the problems under study deserve.
During the discussion of a resolution dealing with methods of encouraging full employment and international trade, Mr. Kidron said Israel had an “intimate acquaintance” with trade boycotts and discrimination in the Middle East and opposes them. These blockades cause political tension and human distress, he said.
