Dr. Abraham Biran has been named Israel consul general in Los Angeles, it was announced here last night. Dr. Biran is currently District Commissioner of Jerusalem.
Gideon Saguy, currently Second Secretary of the Israel Embassy in London, has been appointed vice-consul in Chicago. He assumes his new duties shortly after the turn of the year.
