Emigration of Elderly Jews from Russia to Israel Predicted

Israel can expect a large number of elderly Jews from the Soviet Union, it was reported here today by M.M. Friedman, an Israeli who returned from a visit to Kiev. He made this statement at a meeting arranged by the Israel Information Service, which is a government institution.

The Voice of Israel radio today reported the arrival in Haifa of 10 Hungarian Jews. The broadcast emphasized that this is the largest group of Hungarian Jews permitted to leave Hungary for Israel since the arrival of 197 Jews from Budapest a year ago.
