Israel does not consider the question of the Suez Canal blockade closed, and means to continue the fight to force Egypt to recognize its right to send its shipping through the canal, Premier Moshe Sharett today told the members of the crew of the Bat Galim.

The Premier entertained at his residence here the ten crewmen who had spent 94 days in Egyptian prisons and members of their families. Mr. Sharett paid tribute, in the name of the Israel people, to the heroic behavior of the ten seamen and told them of the breathless anxiety with which all Israel and much of the world followed the progress of their case.
