Coal Discovered in Negev; Depth Makes Its Mining Unprofitable

A crew drilling for oil near Sdeh Boker, in the Negev, has cut through a vein of solid coal, it was announced here today. However, the vein was discovered at a depth of 340 feel which makes it unprofitable to mine.
