Rabbi Bloch, Head of Telshe Yeshivah, Dies in Cleveland

Prominent rabbis from more than 20 cities attended the funeral of Rabbi Elijah Meir Bloch, head of the famous Telshe Yeshivah here, who died at the age of 59. He was one of the outstanding Jewish scholars and a member of the world executive committee of the Agudath Israel. He came to this country together with the 80-year-old Yeshivah which was moved from Lithuania following Russian occupation of that country.
