A financial settlement in a restitution suit brought by Karl Joel, American Jewish businessman, for return of a thriving mail order business taken over by a German when Mr. Joel fled from the Nazis, has been reached here, the local restitution chamber announced today. Both parties agreed not to reveal the amount of the settlement.
