Ambassador Abba Eban called on Assistant Secretary of State George V. Allen to inform the Department of State that incursions by Egyptian Army units into Israel from the Gaza strip are continuing with a mounting toll of life and injury.
Mr. Eban also brought the latest attack by Egyptian infiltrators on a wedding party 12 miles inside Israel to the attention of the United Nations Security Council in a letter to Council resident Selim Sarper of Turkey.
