Britain to Move Its Jerusalem Consulate to Israel Section

Britain will move its consulate from the Old City of Jerusalem to the new city, it was learned here today. The move was interpreted here as an indication of British de facto recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. In the past the British have only maintained a consular agency in Jewish Jerusalem.
