Confidence that the United Jewish Appeal drive and the Israel bond sales campaign this year would raise at least as much money for Israel as last year was expressed here today by Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, UJA executive vice-chairman, at a meeting of the Jewish Agency executive.

A report to the meeting also revealed that some 2,500 new immigrants had entered Israel last month. The executive issued a statement of condolence to the families of the 58 victims of the El Al crash in Bulgaria.
