President Eisenhower has approved plans for an Oct. 25 conference at Washington to map steps toward elimination of religious and racial discrimination in government contracts.

Secretary of Labor Mitchell announced the conference after a lengthy talk with the President at the Summer White House at Lowry Air Force Base.
