Eric Johnston. President Eisenhower’s special envoy is now in Beirut for discussions of the American-backed plan for regional development of the Jordan Valley waters with Lebanese officials. Mr. Johnston has already been in consultation with Jordanian and Egyptian authorities in their respective capitals during the past week.
