Sir Henry d’Avigdor Goldsmid, M.P., has been appointed Parliamentary private secretary to Duncan Sandys, Minister for Housing and Local Government. Sir Henry is president of the Jewish Colonization Association and chairman of the Jewish Trust Corporation for Germany, a British Jewish successor organization operating to recover heirless and communal Jewish property in Germany.
