The Federal Internal Revenue Bureau today ordered that bottled wine may no longer be labeled as “kosher-style” or “kosher-type,” ruling the use of these phrases to be unlawful. It was held by the Government that use of such phrases to describe non-kosher wines “would be misleading to the consuming public.”
