World War II and Korean veterans whose contact with Jewish military chaplains restored their religious devotion are playing a key role in the religious revival of American Jewry, Frank L. Weil, honorary president of the National Jewish Welfare Board, declared here tonight at the fifth biennial convention of the Association of Jewish Chaplains of the Armed Forces. He spoke at a dinner in his honor where he was awarded a scroll in recognition of his contributions to the chaplaincy and morale programs of the armed forces.
