The 12th annual nationwide observance of Jewish Book Month begins tomorrow. Some 2,000 Jewish organizations including synagogues, Jewish Community Centers and Jewish schools as well as Jewish and public libraries are expected to take part in the celebration under the auspices of the Jewish Book Council of America which is sponsored by the National Jewish Welfare Board.

Programs planned for the observance include exhibits, book fairs, book reviews, symposia, lectures, plays, radio and television events and special Book Month sermons. The latter will be given on the occasion of Jewish Book Sabbath, November 19. Noted Jewish authors and scholars will be heard at scores of lectures across the country.
