Maj. Gen. E.L.M. Burns, United Nations truce supervisor, will proceed to Damascus tomorrow to discuss the current Israel-Syrian situation with top Syrian leaders, it was announced here today.

Burns had been notified of Israel’s readiness to free all the Syrian prisoners on condition that the Syrians free all Israelis they hold prisoner. The spokesman added that Israel will treat the captured Syrian troops in accordance with the Geneva Convention.
