Jewish Leaders from Various Countries Arrive in New York for Parley

Leaders of Jewish communities in a number of countries abroad arrived here today to attend a meeting of the board of directors of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, which will be held here this weekend. They include.

M. J. Ashkanasy, president of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry; Samuel Bronfman, Joseph H. Fine, Michael Garber and Saul Hayes, all of the Canadian Jewish Congress, Jules Braunschvig, president, and Eugene Weill, executive secretary, of the Alliance Israelite Universelle; Dr. Vidal. Nodiano, president of CRIF, the central representative body of French Jews; and Edmond Weill, vice-president of the Fonds Social Juif Unifie.

Also, Dr. H. G. van Dam, secretary of the Central Committee of Jews in Germany; Barnett Janner, president, and A. G. Brotman, secretary, of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, Robert N. Carvalho, president of the Anglo-Jewish Association; H A. Goodman of the Agudath Israel World Organization; H. O. Josephs of the Central British Fund; Israel Maisels, president of the South African Jewish Board of Deputies, and Hirsch Triwaks of the DAIA., central representative organization of Argentine Jewry.
