Mortimer May, president of the Zionist Organization of America, issued a statement today declaring that the ZOA “disassociates” itself from the platform for the 24th Zionist Congress made public this week by Dr. Israel Goldstein in behalf of the World Confederation of General Zionists.
The ZOA president charged that the platform “was never discussed nor approved by the executive of the World Confederation.” He said that a platform committee was to be named by Dr. Goldstein, but was never appointed.
