A 50-year-old boat livery owner was sentenced to ten days imprisonment today for using anti-Semitic language to abuse a passer-by.
A Utrecht magistrate, pronouncing sentence, said the boatman had used the word “Jewish” in a manner insulting to the Jewish people and to the tens of thousands of Dutch Jews murdered during World War II.
